Dallas Indian Independence Day Celebrations - Anand Bazaar 2011
Come and celebrate India's Independence Day at 35th Anand Bazaar 2011 Organized by India Association of North Texas (IANT) with the help of many local businesses and the DFW Community. India Association of North Texas (IANT) brings to you 35th Annual ANAND BAZAAR 2011, celebrating India's Independence Day on Saturday August 13th, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. There will be a number of booths selling Desi stuff like spicy Indian Chaat, apparel, accessories and what not. There is the ceremonial Independence day parade with Indian and US flags. There is live music events, cultural events and a nice fireworks show at night. This place is a fun filled event and attracts a big crowd every year. It's been going on for quite a few years now. |

Dallas Gujarati Samaj Navaratri Raas Garba 2010
One of the biggest events organized by the DFW Gujarati Samaj every year is their Navaratri Raas Garba. This year the event will be held on the 9th and 23rd of October at the Loos Stadium. With Free Pizza for the kids and a large crowd, there is no reason to miss this one.

Dallas 2009 Diwali Mela
| | Every year, the Dallas area Desi community hosts one of its biggest events, the Diwali Mela. For the last few years, the Diwali Mela was held in the Texas Stadium in Irving but this year, they are hosting it in the new billion dollar Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
