Welcome to Bharatiyam,the Indian Students Association of UCLA. This website provides an over of Bharatiyam and its activites and also informatiom for new students coming to UCLA.Bharatiyam is an organization whose members share an interest in India and issues which are Indian. Bharatiyam serves both as a focus for cultural and social events for the Indian community at UCLA and also as a forum for discussion and dissemination of information about India and Indians in the United States. The organization is strictly non-religious and non-political; in the sense that it will not espouse any political or religious causes or make any political statements. Membership of Bharatiyam is open to all persons (and their spouses) of the UCLA community.
