What is Anandamela

Anandamela is a Bengali language focused community organization dedicated towards building connections and friendships among various communities through ethnic festivals, literary gathering, peer to peer learning, charity events, and music and songs. It was established in 2004 and have since been active in the Greater Sacramento area.

Bānglā or Bengali is a major world language, spoken by more than 200 million people worldwide. It is the 5th most spoken language in the world. Bangla is native to the region of Bengal, currently comprised of Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal in Southeast Asia. It is the second most commonly spoken language in India (after Hindi).
