MaGaReSa-IndianMusic group was formed in the Charlotte area to foster musical talent and promote Indian Film music. From 1920s to current 2009 year, we have seen various adaptations of Hindustani music raagas into popular film songs. These songs are pictured on actors and actresses, revolving around relevant story lines or sometimes not so relevant.Regardless, this is an integral part of the South East Asian culture and provides easy access of complicated raagas and swars to those music lovers, who have not learnt or have been exposed to traditional classical Indian music.This community is all inclusive and does not distinguish between languages members speak, country of origin, social status or age.
